Marketing Communications Manager (Individual Contributor with Resources)

Responsibilities:

  • Work with strategic partners to execute corporate branding activities to propel brand growth and expansion.
  • Grow, manage, and curate content on corporate websites and social media platforms.
  • Stay current on key business and industry trends, including competitors’ activities.
  • Develop content for corporate and product communications, aligning with go-to-market strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on communication and marketing campaigns, including media publications and external events.
  • Prepare communication materials for internal and external stakeholders, fostering sustainable relationships.
  • Collaborate with HR for employee engagement initiatives, including communication, newsletters, and events.
  • Track media coverage and target audience engagement to measure ROI.
  • Provide support for communications related to government and investor relations.
  • Integrating product branding seamlessly into the overarching company branding strategy.

Requirements:

  • 8 to 12 years in internal and external communications, including business media relations and managing PR campaigns.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing or Mass Communication.
  • Ability to develop compelling content across various communication channels for different target audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including experience working with senior leadership teams and key stakeholders.
  • Creative mindset with proficiency in digital marketing and hands-on experience in campaign/event planning and execution.
  • Proficiency in devising and executing strategic initiatives, particularly in branding across corporate, product, and employer domains in relation to Battery Cells & Battery Modular Systems and application Product Roadmap.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with external PR agencies and internal departments, ensuring that press releases and strategic initiatives align with the company’s vision and connect various facets of the company’s products and services.

Key Account Manager (Electrical/Application/Technical Presales)

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Key Account Director to co-lead the management and nurturing of key accounts in various markets.
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering business growth and revenue recognition.
  • Apply sense-making techniques for effective key account management and enhanced business relationships.
  • Co-lead special operations projects for the global expansion of Durapower’s factories.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive global business development initiatives.
  • Adopt a global perspective for strategic, pro-business decisions.
  • Utilise strategic thinking skills to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Navigate complex situations with finesse while maintaining composure and clear thought processes.
  • Apply transdisciplinary thinking focused on products and services and the commercial-techno terms and conditions.
  • Act as a key liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring clear and effective bilingual communication in Mandarin and English.
  • Facilitate meetings and negotiations adeptly, striving for mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Demonstrate customer orientation to enable successful collaboration and influence business outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (MBA preferred) and/or Business Management
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Key Account Manager or in Enterprise Development roles.
  • Background in government or statutory board roles highly desirable, with exposure to overseas markets.
  • Prior participation in exchange programs, extensive travel, and a global mindset is highly preferred.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully co-lead, driving processes for global partnership development projects.
  • Excellent bilingual communication skills in Mandarin and English.

Senior/Sales Manager (Commercial EV/Specialty Applications)

Responsibilities:

  • Utilise market research and competitive analysis to drive sales strategies in segments such as Commercial Electric Vehicles (CEV), Heavy Duty Applications, Marine, Harbour Operations, Energy Infrastructure, Microgrids, and more.
  • Stay ahead of emerging segments, international regulations, and industry trends, particularly in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies in collaboration with international partners.
  • Contribute to product strategies aligned with market demands and trends.
  • Work closely with System Engineers & Project Management efforts for strategic initiatives.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Development and Marketing functions to drive growth.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with Commercial Sales Acumen.
  • 5-15 years of experience in strategy, technical sales, or consulting.
  • Candidates with project sales pursuit capabilities and segment-specific experience in Commercial Electric Vehicles, Energy Storage Systems/Stationary projects, power conversion, or battery/energy management systems is preferred.
  • Experience working collaboratively with diverse cultures.
  • May need to travel up to 25%.

Data Engineer/Scientist (Python, Java, Apache Spark, AWS)

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and systems to efficiently collect, store, and analyze diverse battery-related data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources, ensuring a comprehensive and cohesive representation of battery performance metrics.
  • Develop and implement predictive models to extract meaningful insights, contributing to strategic decision-making in the battery technology sector.
  • Work closely with data scientists and analysts to identify data patterns, trends, and anomalies, translating raw information into actionable insights.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements, providing recommendations to shape data initiatives that keep the organization at the forefront of innovation in battery technology.

Requirements:

  • University or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience as a Date Scientist, focusing on designing and implementing data architectures and pipelines, particularly in the context of battery-related data.
  • Proficiency in data modeling and design, including SQL scripting and database administration.
  • Strong proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, Java), data modeling, and database management systems. Experience with tools such as Apache Spark and familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) is a plus.
  • Experienced in developing and implementing predictive models to extract insights from complex datasets, contributing to informed decision-making.
  • Understanding of battery technology, energy storage systems, and a keen interest in staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts specifically tailored to the battery technology industry.
  • Analyse financial performance and market trends within the energy storage sector to support strategic decision-making at Durapower.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, focusing on key performance indicators relevant to the battery technology market.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, sales, and marketing teams to develop budgets and forecasts for product development and market expansion.
  • Conduct detailed variance analysis to evaluate actual performance against industry-specific budgets and forecasts.
  • Support in assessing the financial feasibility of new product innovations and market expansion strategies within the energy storage sector.
  • Present insightful financial analyses to senior management to facilitate data-driven decisions in line with Durapower’s market objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in financial analysis and planning within the energy storage or renewable energy industry.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling tools and data analysis relevant to the battery technology sector.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on market dynamics and financial implications specific to energy storage solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across diverse teams within Durapower.

Senior/Project Manager (Electrical/Electronics/Power/Mechatronics)

Responsibilities:

  • Set project timelines and keep projects on track.
  • Monitor project deliverables and update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project’s progress.
  • Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them.
  • Schedule tasks and coordinate with various team members to accomplish project objectives.
  • Manage project budget and resource allocation.
  • Interact regularly with existing and potential clients to determine needs and develop plans for improving delivery.
  • Work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes where needed.
  • Resolve and assist in the resolution of conflicts among different stakeholders.
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

Requirements:

  • Master’s/Degree or Diploma in Engineering Disciplines with adequate exposure background in site electrical work.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Electrical System Interconnection and Technical References.
  • Proven track record in project management, including experience in budget control, project scheduling, operation of a fabrication workshop, and conducting feasibility studies for project proposals.
  • PMP certification is preferred but not a must; in lieu, a critical pathway-centric approach to project management will take precedence.
  • Experience leading and managing teams effectively and robustly.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
  • Sound engineering background, focusing on automotive and/or power engineering, is a distinct advantage.
